Let's get down to business... All the presentations and materials are set to go! Now the challenge will be integrating all the know-how and resources with schools and students who need it! So far I've lead classes at Raymond High School, in Mrs. Probasco's Career class, and I've done resume work with the Senior Advisory class at South Bend high school. They had great questions and I look forward to working with them more this year. If you have questions about how to access these materials or bring these presentations to your school/class/anywhere, please contact us! We had another service day on October 24th (Make A Difference Day), collecting coats for kids at Everybody's, Raymond Library, and Pioneer Grocery! We collected 83 coats and close to $40 to launder them and set aside for other winter clothing purchases. Alyssa at TAC is in charge of getting these coats to the schools in North Pacific County. We met several generous people this weekend, and we gave out slips to get in contact with future donors as well! If you have any winter clothes to donate, please contact Alyssa at TAC: (360) 214-1307.A few members of our team will also be participating in the Swearing in Ceremony in Seattle! It will be exciting to meet other Washington Service Corps members and see what great projects they are working on! The rest of us will be at the Halloween Dance at Boys and Girls Club!
